The Contra Costa Civic Theatre has been making history for 65 years. Now, together with the El Cerrito Historical Society, CCCT is celebrating! Come take a behind-the-scenes tour and learn how the magic happens.

Your self-guided tour will give you a peek into the inner workings of the theatre, including backstage areas and the extensive basement “catacombs” where sets are built and thousands of stage props are stored. Some of those props might even be available for guests wishing to take a truly memorable photo or two!

We’ll be capping off the 65th anniversary celebration with cake and refreshments while board member and founder’s daughter Kathleen Ray shares tales of growing up in the CCCT family. No reservations needed — just come ready for fun!

The event is free, but donations are welcome.
